Established in October 2023, Hippie Chai was born from the founder’s travel experiences in Southeast Asia the previous year, where her quest for vegan chai proved challenging even in its birthplace, India. As a passionate chai enthusiast, our founder recognized the need for a better solution upon returning to the US. While exploring existing vegan instant teas, she found them to be laden with unhealthy sugar content and inauthentic due to the use of artificial spices. This realization sparked her journey to create a healthier, more authentic, and vegan-friendly chai. Our chai is a harmonious blend of oat milk powder, low sugar, tea powder, and genuine Indian spices. Packaged conveniently in sachets, it’s the perfect companion for camping, backpacking, or any travel adventures.
