Akal traditions is a brand that I created out of love for my Amazigh heritage, and a need to share its wisdom with the world. At its core, Amazigh beauty rituals are about showing love and care for ourselves, reinforcing our self-confidence, and ultimately accepting who we are. It’s a daily meeting with ourselves and a grounding experience with what nature has best to offer: plants, oils, clays and hydrolats. The smells and the textures will not only feed your skin but they will nourish your soul and remind you of an ancient memory of mother earth engraved in all of us. Every ritual has been performed over and over by generations of Amazigh women, we honor them and keep their traditions going.
