Shade grown in northern Peru including Lambayeque, San Martin, Cajamarca, and Amazonas regions. It is grown at an altitude of 1200-1800 meters by the indigenous Quechua people, a group that predates the Inca civilization. Varietals include Tipica, Bourbon, and Catimor. We roast this coffee on a bed of hot air that removes the smoke generated from roasting beans, providing a clean tasting cup of coffee, so you can enjoy all the subtle flavor notes of this exceptional coffee.
